ACTIVITIES & ENTERTAINMENT
Cam's Favorite:

For Breakfast he recommends "Elkins". Return to business Hwy 17 Kings Hwy. at the corner of Calhoun and Kings Hwy turn Right.....go for several block on the Left Hand side of Kings Hwy is "Plantation at 62nd" a Breakfast Restaurant.

Several brochure racks and free magazine racks will help locate attractions you maybe interested in.

Britt's Favorite:

For Lunch travel north on Ocean Blvd (right in front of condo) up to approx. 74th Ave North. On the right hand side is her favorite stop called "The River City Cafe". You can eat inside or her favorite is out back under the sun around the tikki bar. Eat the peanuts and throw them anywhere but the trash. Good Cold Drinks and fast food service.

Dan's Favorite:

Dinner at Drunken Jack's in Murrell's Inlet, south on either Business 17 (Kings HWY) or take the bypass Hwy 17, follow the signs south of Garden City and Surf Side Beach approx. 20 miles south of the Anchorage. Follow the main drag into Murrell's Inlet, Drunken Jack's is on the left.

Patti's Favorite:

Right next to Drunken Jacks is "The Dock Side" if it's warm, and the deck out back under the torches is open, she prefers The Dock Side. You can enjoy the view of the lights of Garden City across the inlet. Small fishing, and charter craft dock along the boardwalk.

Most restaurants have a wait of 45 minute to 1 hour wait unless you are an early bird.

Another location to visit for shopping, walking and good food is Broadway At The Beach. From the Anchorage follow Ocean Blvd south to 29th Ave. Turn Right go across business Hwy 17 Kings Hwy, through the light at Oak Street continue west on 29th towards Hwy 17 Bypass. Before you get to the bypass you will see Broadway At The Beach on the left hand side. Several restaurants and Reply's Aquarium and Shops are here. Our restaurant of choice here is Landry's Seafood.

Carolina Opry is a strong recommendation for theatre entertainment.

For Par 3 Golf almost 18 hours a day (in other words under the lights as well) try the Cane Patch. Follow the same directions as to "Plantation at 62nd" Restaurant heading north on Bus Hwy 17 Kings Hwy (Right at the corner of Calhoun and Kings) approx. 1 mile on Left is Cane Patch.

Another Fun Shopping and Eating and Entertainment experience is Bare Foot Landing.
Follow the directions to Bus Hwy 17 Kings Hwy, head north past Cane Patch, out of the city limits of Myrtle Beach. You will continue North thru Restaurant Row (take your choice, there are lots to choose from, if you desire to eat here) past Hwy 22, past the Colonel Mall on your left. Approx. 1.5 miles past the mall you will see Bare Foot Landing on your Left. Have fun finding a parking space here (very popular), "Joe's Crab Shack" is a favorite restaurant here. Once again there is plenty of shopping. You will also see entertainment theatres such as the "House of Blues" and the Alabama Theatre, all of which have great entertainment.

Finally for the night that you don't want to cook but would like good food, take a look at the menu in the kitchen drawer near the phone for "Carrabas". They are located on the left hand side of business 17 Kings Hwy (headed north), just before you get to the Cane Patch Par 3. They have take out (both dinning in or out are great at this place). Within 25 minutes of calling you can drive up, park in the drive up spaces, and the attendant will come out, take your card (cash, etc..) and deliver your food to the car. Within minutes you're eating in the Condo ready for a walk on the beach. Be careful, if you do this early in your trip you may fall victim to doing this more than once during your stay.
